Don't make me go all psychology on your illustration, there. However, I STILL HOLD that context and intonation are so integral to using those phrases "Good Night" and "Good Morning" in the ways you're questioning, that it can't possibly be put across effectively with stick figures.
That said, I have to mention that I'm totally on tgpo and anonymous' sides. ;)

We say "Good Afternoon" and "Good Morning" as greetings, so why not "Good Night?
