I have an Olympus C-3030 Zoom. It's 3.3 megapixel and has 3X optical zoom and 2.5X digital zoom. The manual focus goes down to about 8 inches, which isn't too bad.
The camera has some nice features like time-delay and a remote control. It can do those goofy "effects" like sepia, but I never mess with those. I figure if I really want to do that, I can do it in Photoshop.
The camera also records 30 second videos, with sound.
It's a large, older camera, but it's the first digital camera I ever used, and I'm used to it. Plus it does good work! My mom bought the one I have right now on eBay. (The box says "filmless" on it ;D)
I haven't taken any photography classes or anything. I just run around with my camera and take pictures whenever I get the chance. Lately I have been trying different settings and seeing what happens. One thing I'm not sure my camera can do is let me set a shutter speed, which is a point of irritation for me.

Yay photos, I love the angles and scenes you capture. The pinwheel and the cabage are great. And about timely uploading, it's still July isn't it? :)
These are great photos - what kind of camera do you use, Heather?
Thanks!
