AHAHAHAHAHA XD

Have you seen Yakitate!! Japan 67?!

When I first saw that old man, I thought, "Hey, it's Gollum."

And he is.

XD XD XD XD

I laughed so hard, at this whole episode. I love how the fourth wall just goes completely out the window now.

Finally got around to watching 67/68. >.< I certainly wouldn't have caught the Gollum thing without your mention of it, but it was well done.

Looks like the Anime is finally coming to an end at episode 69 (Or so it seems), which is sad. The anime's been so much fun, even if the Yakitate! 9 has had kind of a filler feeling during the whole thing.

I actually just went back and read the original 'Lord of the Loquat' comic, it's the Omake from Volume 10. They reproduced it pretty well, even if there were some key differences (Suwabara was in the original, the anime added Gollum as well as the Blizzard hands bit, etc).

Still, it's finally ending? What a crazy, bread-filled ride it has been.

I've really enjoyed Yakitate!! 9. Whenever the theme music plays, I dance around in my chair :D

To be honest, I kind of expected the final battle with Yukino to take longer. Some of the other battles were DBZ-like. And it seems odd to wrap up the Kirisaki thing in one episode. But then again, the show's kooky. Maybe it can pull it off ;>

I haven't read the manga, but I bet it's fun :)

The manga really is a better counterpart to the anime, which is the case with most shows. Having respect for both forms though, I do have to suggest getting your hands on the manga if you can.

I've got the last episode of Yakitate!! Japan now downloaded. #69, a normal length episode.

<_< I'm scared of what might happen. Like it'll just end, and then I'll have to wait around for the new chapters of the manga to someday come out to continue the story further. (I mean the Yakitate!! 9 was the Yakitate!! 25. They'll be on it for ages at this rate.)

Okay, I see why they did it that way--so the characters saying "It's the last episode, after all" would be metahumor. But I still thought it was too rushed.

The reactions were pretty funny though :)

So all they need to do is feed Kirisaki Japan 24/7.
