This might sound selfish, but I felt like you made this video JUST FOR ME; with that little bit of info about the weather, and that quick glimpse around a familiar area, I know JUST what it feels like, right there, at that time, and I LOVE IT!! :D
I wouldn't mind riding the canal while I'm there. I'd be totally completely and happily fine walking it, too. David and I have already talked about going to walk the Greeneway while we're there. :D
While I was there I saw a Jeep parked near the new bridge. I don't know if people are actually allowed to do that, but that would eliminate the problem of me having to climb the hill, and also the problem of having to shove a bike back up.
I was thinking that I could bike the canal if I had a handicapped parking permit, but that just seems ridiculous. I can't imagine what people would think of seeing someone drive down there and park in the handicapped spot only to get out and start riding a bike.
I tell you what, having congestive heart failure has really made me change my mind about whether or not people are being lazy. Those people who circle the parking lot for 15 minutes looking for a spot might have a good reason! :>
Anyway, hopefully we can go to the Canal, and I'd love to tag along to the Greeneway too :)
