General evaluation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [no spoilers]

Given what I realized this morning, I have to say that this book is horribly, brilliantly tragic.

That's an interesting thought; it does seem like there is quite a bit to resolve in just one year. But I don't know, maybe she's just building it up so that the climax will be that much more impactful. She's always said she's stopping at 7, hasn't she?

I can imagine the last book being nonstop action...
