Sometimes I make these jokes, you see...

"Cyber Monday is for people who never use the Internet," I said. "It's unnecessary."

"So it's for the rest of us."

"The Internet is 24/7. It's not about being online at a particular time. That's Old Media. That's TV."

"Well sold," my boss said. "...except for that Old Media part. That hurt a little."

;D

Hehe, I like it :-)

Sometimes it is difficult to speak of things prior to the Internet, particularly to the younger generation. Nothing like feeling like an old fogey at the tender age of 28 :-P

I'm 28 too!

It's a unique age, because we hit our teens just as "online life" was beginning. So as we grew up, culture changed dramatically.

I suppose every generation has something like that. The Internet seems different somehow, but maybe that's just because it happened to me ;>
