XD
This show is too hilarious.
Kind of eager to get back to the murder mystery...looking forward to the next episode!
Because I had some time this morning, here's an episode breakdown:
Episode Name | Episode Number (Kyon) | Episode Number (Haruhi) | |
1 | Episode 00: The Adventures of Asahina Mikuru | 1 | ? |
2 | The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi I | 2 | 1 |
3 | The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi II | 3 | 2 |
4 | The Boredom of Suzumiya Haruhi | 4 | 7 |
5 | The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi III | 5 | 3 |
6 | Remote Island Syndrome (Part One) | 6 | 9 |
7 | Mysterique Sign | 7 | 8 |
8 | Remote Island Syndrome (Part Two) | 8 | 10 |
So let's put that another way. Story order, with release order in parentheses:
- The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi I (2)
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi II (3)
The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi III (5)

Ah, Haruhi is getting so crazy. It's constantly fluxing between being cute and being downright awesome, and then they throw you a curve of out of place episodes and explanations that liquify your brain.
Of course, we're still missing the episodes where we see how things are revealed for the first time. Kyon already seems a little too used to the craziness.
Also, really, attacks named after seasons of Full Metal Panic? He's a nutter.
That whole scene was awesome. I loved how it played out like an RPG.
