T_T They demoted the poor dog...

Good episode, though I felt a little empty afterwards - like you feel after eating but you're really not full.

Something about the episode made it seem far shorter than it was - my guess was the fact that some of the episode replayed some of the frightening facts we learned about the 901-ATT that didn't need re-learning after a week.

If the episodes are a little more shallow like this for a couple more episodes, I'll either drop the series or stop collecting the episodes.

I still can't figure out why they'd call their squad 'Pumpkin Scissor' or why their symbol would actually be a pumpkin sitting on a pair of scissors. I mean, the scissors are kinda dangerous tools, but not when they're jabbed into the bottom of a jack'o'latern.

Though, I do get the odd sense of both pumpkins and scissors when I think about the team. Maybe it's just their fiery little leader and her love of that little sword.

Tim: I enjoyed the episode. It was kind of in the Freak of the Week vein--here's the bad guy who's going to do terrible things, here's the guy who's heard the story of ATT-whatever, and here's the scene where the big guy freaks everyone out. I do hope the next episode starts up a story arc rather than just presenting another baddie to foil.

As far as the name Pumpkin Scissors, maybe instead of being a reference to what the team is supposed to be, in the propaganda, it's a reference to what the military knows the team really is. A Jack o'Lantern to represent impotent terror, and scissors to represent impotent weaponry. Because they have no resources and they don't particularly inspire fear in anyone. They're just there for PR.

Of course, all that's about to change, because if it doesn't the series will be very depressing ;)

Jair: You have to watch it...there's a dog who bites people in the head!!!!!

It's easy enough to find. It's called Pumpkin Scissors ;)
