My Boss: I get so much mail. I wish there was something I could dump it all into, and then it would spit back out the stuff I need to know and get rid of the rest.
Me: Kind of like an RSS aggregator for regular mail.
My Boss: ...I have no idea what you just said.

Haven't heard of Autonomy. What is it?
I don't think I would trust anyone else to decide what was important, which is why I chose RSS, and said "kind of like" instead of trying to come up with an analogue. With RSS I still see everything, but just a summary, so I can decide quickly which ones to read.
You're right, digg would be very bad.
Also, my boss is a woman. You're the second person to assume she was a man!
