I can't believe a group of kids went and defaced the Miller. What a bunch of assholes.

OOOOOHH, I can't BELIEVE THAT!! Well, yes I can, there seems to be an overflow of ignorant, non-productive people in Augusta with a penchant for being idiots.
Ignorance DOES breed contempt, then, and here's a shining example.
Why does there seem to always be someone hell-bent to destroy or at least set back something that's ultimately for their enjoyment, as well? I've been watching the whole Miller renovation with worried interest since I first heard about it, because Peter Knox doesn't readily have the funds to do it, but he's got the faith and determination, which will, I believe, ultimately get it done. To know that these vandals have put forth such a public display of their ignorance and stupidity, only to most likely snicker at tv reports of their idiocy, disgusts me.
Plain words, I wish I could bitch slap every last one of the bastards before they go to jail!!
Wow, I didn't realize this had affected me as much as it has. I just found the email address for the Miller Theater, it's: contactatmiller-theaterdotorg and sent them a quick note about how upset I am over it all, and to ask what all ways can people get involved, because obviously, unfortunately, I can't volunteer any time.
Hey Hea, you bought a shirt from them that day we went through on the tour, right? Do you know how to get any more of those? I'd DEFINITELY wear it over here, and at least "wear the word" on THIS side of the pond, in at least a tiny little way of showing some support.
I just hate that all of this has happened; I feel like my home's been attacked, and there's nothing I can do about it, so I guess I'm trying to find SOMETHING I CAN DO.
Yeah, I did buy a shirt--it's actually the shirt I have on in my drivers license photo ;D
Unfortunately, even though we put our contact information down so we could volunteer with the renovation, no one ever contacted me. I haven't had any contact with anyone over there since the tour. So I have no idea how to get another shirt. :( Maybe someone at that email address can answer the question.
If we do find a way to get one, I'll be happy to bring it when we come visit, assuming you don't make it back over here before then.
